At our bed and breakfast, we believe that a memorable breakfast goes beyond the ordinary. While pancakes are delightful at home, we take great pride in offering a gourmet breakfast experience that reflects the rich flavors and thoughtfulness of a culinary tradition. Prepared with care and passion, our breakfasts feature farm-to-table ingredients and seasonal produce, ensuring that each dish is as fresh and aromatic as it is memorable. Our goal is to create a nostalgic, indulgent morning that will stay with you long after your stay.
Breakfast is served between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. For those with early schedules or business travelers, we’re happy to offer a grab-and-go breakfast. Just let us know by 6 PM the day before, and we’ll have something ready for you to take along.
We are delighted to accommodate various dietary preferences and restrictions, including gluten-free, vegan, and more. Please let us know when making your reservation or give us a call prior to your arrival, and we’ll ensure your breakfast is tailored to your needs.
We invite you to start your day with a lavish breakfast experience that begins with a warm, welcoming beverage. Choose from our freshly ground gourmet coffee, or enjoy a cup of hot tea—whether it's a calming green or a robust black blend. To complement your morning, we also offer fresh orange juice free from concentrate, or a tangy cranberry juice.
Your journey to a Victorian-inspired breakfast begins with a delightful fruit starter, crafted to awaken your senses. From perfectly poached pears to plump, drunken plums that are a bit tipsy with bourbon, or chilled fruit soups made with the freshest fruits and berries, our starters are made from scratch and offer a sweet and refreshing beginning to your meal. The chilled fruit soups are served with our signature crunchy cardamom shortbread cookies—an original creation, made with the finest fresh cardamom pods, to add a unique and aromatic touch to your breakfast. While these cookies are a perfect pairing with our chilled fruit soups, they are also a delightful accompaniment to your hot tea or freshly brewed coffee, offering a flavorful complement to your morning beverage.
Our main course is where the true heart of your breakfast lies. Each day brings a new culinary adventure, with an entrée paired with a thoughtfully chosen side, along with a protein such as crisp bacon, or our homemade rosemary-infused sausage, and a fresh garden element. We rotate between savory entrées with sweet sides and sweet entrées with savory sides, ensuring a varied and delightful experience each morning. A star entree among guest favorites is our Tangerine Berry Delight—a soufflé crafted with fresh oranges, cranberries, croissants, butter, eggs, and cream cheese. This rich and flavorful dish strikes a perfect balance between sweet and tangy, making it a memorable start to your day.
Breakfast was gourmet and delicious! Friendly, clean and made us feel like old friends. Rooms: 5/5Service: 5/5Location: 5/5
The breakfasts were great. The cook really knows what they're doing & the innkeepers explain the items in detail. Wish we could have gotten some more! Stepping into Central Park Bed & Breakfast feels like stepping into a different time. The building itself, the decorations, the rooms, and so on have an old soul feel to them. The smell of freshly baked cookies invites you in & makes you want to see more. Perhaps its the grand piano near the entrance or the intricate glassware in the dining room, but there's something about the place that makes you feel just a little fancy & perhaps underdressed, yet comfortable & at home.
Wow! Just staying here was an experience in itself! A delightful trip back in time. The decor was SO very pretty everywhere I looked. I was always finding some new exquisite detail to marvel at. I hated to leave. Checking in was SO easy, even though I arrived late. Breakfast started with a poached pear regally presented on a background of a mixed berry sauce and drizzled with house made lemon curd, garnished with mint for the "leaves" at top. Continuing with a savory baked egg dish with a backed apple sweet on the side to top with an absolutely amazing Bourbon maple syrup. It felt like a Victorian tea room. I can't say enough good things about this B&B.
The staff was amazing, providing attentive service at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the food was amazing, and they accommodated our dietary needs (celiac) very well. The owners were very involved, even helping to serve breakfast, which provided the opportunity to get to know them. Highly recommend this B&B!
